Hi everyone! Wish I had thought of this a while ago but I have an email for just cakes now. I changed it on my sidebar but here it is: cassyscakes@gmail.com
I decided I needed to separate my personal emails from my cake ones so I can start keeping track for those of you ordering cakes up to a year in advance (yes, I'm talking about you Mrs. AM)! :)
I am moving all my emails for future orders to my new one so no one needs to re-email me. Thanks!

Ladybugs!
Isn't this so fun! I love the grass. I wish I could take credit for the design but I can't. I'll give myself points for executing it though. I enjoyed this cake very much!

BMW Motorcycle Cake
I was a little skeptical about making a fondant motorcycle but it was actually quite easy. This was for a guy retiring at my husbands work and he requested a BMW motorcycle cake. My lovely husband gave me a days notice but I thought it turned out pretty cool. I guess his motorcycle has the colors I used and I only used those colors because it was the best picture of a motorcycle I could find. :)

Dinosaurs!
I did not think I was going to pull off a dinosaur cake. Most of the ideas online were either a cake that was a dinosaur or a mountain with dino figures on it. (my secret is out-a lot of my inspiration starts with someone elses') :) I hated both ideas. So, this came together unplanned and I'm happy with the results. My volcano is a little round but I didn't want to carve away that much of the cake. I wanted to show pix of all the dino's on the cake. I had a hard time picking which ones would make the front because I liked them all. This was quite the cake-weekend. Happy to be done. :)

Animal Farm Cake
I was so excited to get this order! There were some other animals and a tractor I wanted to add but there's not quite enough room for anything else. I loved assembling this cake. It was more like playing than work. And of course a smash cake for the little one year old. I thought a pig pen was appropriate. :)

Black and Green Polka Dot Wedding
Isn't life so easy when someone picks the identical cake you've already done? Finding the right green was the only tricky part with this one but luckily, this wedding had many different shades so the cake didn't stand out like a sore thumb. I loved the flowers for this wedding. So pretty! I also decided I needed to invest in a round cake stand. The size of this cake is standard but it seems small for me. Some height makes all the difference.

Bumble bee transformer
This is pretty much the two-tier version of one I've already done. And, it was age appropriate this time. :) I think this is a pretty sharp looking cake. My husband feels I'm being too biased and I need to do the decepticon face. Maybe that will be his birthday cake.
Happy New Year everyone!
