Black, white and red birthday

How fun! Her guests were dressed in black and white and she in red. So cool! The inside was meant to be checkered cake but it did not turn out. :( So future orders, no, that is not something I can do.

Mayzee's blessing cake

I of course and as usual had grand plans for my daughters blessing cake and as usual, got tuckered out and did as simple of a cake as possible.

Miss Mayzee was born on 11/12/12, 7lb 10oz 20". We love her so much! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Now let's bring on the new year! I think I am ready to start taking cake orders. Looking forward to making some cake!

I didn't deliver this one so I don't have a good picture at the moment. This was also the first time I did sheet cakes. I didn't know what I should charge but I learned from this what it costs me and what it would be worth for my time. It is significantly more than a costco cake but I don't buy wholesale or make a million at a time of them with giant Hobart mixers and ovens. Sooooooo, the cost is $75 a cake. They serve between 65-80 people.

I am fully against real toys on my cakes but Tinkerbell is no easy thing to make with sugar. I caved.

Someone actually sent me a picture of this to make for their granddaughter and I loved it so much I decided to do it for my own little girl! Owls are so cute!

Hounted house birthday

My son found one similar online and wanted it exactly. Out of all my options, I didn't love the one he picked but if it makes him happy (which it did), I'll do whatever he wants.
